Wilmington women compete in Cedarville Invite

Chelsea Sites finished sixth in the high jump at the Cedarville Invitational.
CEDARVILLE — Wilmington College turned in solid performances on the track and in the field as the Quakers competed in the Cedarville University Invitational Friday night.
The Quakers finished seventh with 41 team points. Wright State won the 15-team event with 161 points.
The distance medley relay team of Colleen Romeo (Pleasant Plain/Goshen), Anna Foote (Pleasant Plain/Goshen), Tricia Steffen (Baltimore/Liberty Union) and Jenna Parlette (Miamisburg) gave Wilmington its lone event win of the night, hitting the line first in 13:11.35.
Brittany Gibbons (Pleasant Plain/Blanchester) finished second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:53.55.
Annie Cekada (Mineral Point, Pa./Central Cambria) was third at 5,000 meters, finishing in 18:59.86.
In the field, Liz Delehanty (Euclid/Villa Angela-St. Joseph) was the top Division III pole vaulter with a lifetime best effort of 10-6 that was good for sixth place.
Chelsea Sites (Wilmington) finished sixth in the high jump with a jump of 4-10 ¼.
