Wilmington blanked by Mount Union

Justin Arehart and the Quakers lost to Mount Union.
ALLIANCE — Wilmington College dropped a 9-0 decision to Mount Union in Ohio Athletic Conference action on the Purple Raiders’ courts Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers finish the OAC season at 0-9. Mount Union finishes conference play at 6-3.
The Raiders took control early with 8-1 wins on all three doubles courts.
In singles action, Justin Arehart (Wilmington) played well in a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Nate Fockler at No. 1.
On the No. 2 singles court, Connor LaVelle (Athens) dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Nick Fockler.
Josh Kincaid (Loveland/Goshen) lost, 6-2, 6-1 to Patrick Yackmack at No. 3.
At the No. 4 position, Killian Cummings (Cincinnati/Colerain) lost to Ben Swope, 6-1, 6-1.
Cullen Corcoran (Wilmington/Clinton-Massie) dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match to Drew LeGendre at No. 5 singles.
At the No. 6 spot, Jon Asher (Loveland/Goshen) lost, 6-0, 6-0 to Jeff Looker.
