WC to Host Southwest Ohio Small Farm Conference and Trade Show
Event to Feature 30 Seminars

An intensive conference highlighting a wide variety of agricultural issues will be held at Wilmington College March 9 and 10.
The Southwest Ohio Small Farm Conference and Trade Show will provide an opportunity for participants to choose from numerous seminars taught by extension professionals and industry leaders.
The College and Ohio State University Extension Office are among the event’s co-sponsors.
The two-day program will start Friday evening with a seminar titled “Meat Marketing — Front and Center while Saturday will offer nearly 30 sessions ranging from “Livestock and the Law” and “Aquaculture: The Nuts and Bolts to Fish Farming” to “Integrated Pest Management for Vegetable Production” and “Beekeeping — More Than Just the Basics.”
Friday registration will be held from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at WC’s Pyle Student Center, while Saturday’s registration will be held from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. in Kelly Center. The cost is $20 for Friday, $50 for Saturday and $60 for both days.
The trade show will be held from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m.
