Wilmington College Theatre will present Noel Coward’s ghostly farce Blithe Spirit April 10, 11 and 12, at 7:30 p.m., in Hugh G. Heiland Theatre.

Researching for his new novel, Charles invites the implausible medium Madame Arcati, to his house for a séance. Whilst consumed in a trance, Madame Arcati unwittingly summons the ghost of Charles' dead wife, Elvira.

Appearing only to Charles, Elvira soon makes a play to reclaim her husband, much to the chagrin of Charles' new wife, Ruth. One husband, two feuding wives and a whisper of mischief in the air. Who will win in Coward's unworldly comedy?

Wynn Alexander is directing Blithe Spirit with Lois Hock serving as set and lighting designer.

The cast features: Vicki Wilson as Edith, Kerri Davis as Ruth Condomine, Tim Wiederhold as Charles Condomine, Nick Hutson as Dr. Bradman, Amanda Brock as Mrs. Bradman, Victoria Canby as the cook, Bekah Muchmore as Madame Arcati and Arizona Craycraft as Elvira.

Reservations are available by contacting the Theatre Box Office weekdays, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., at (937) 382-6661 ext. 267.
