SAAC taps Candella as weekly winner

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named men's basketball player Brandon Candella as its Player of the Week, for the week ending December 2.
Candella (West Chester, OH/Lakota West) earned all-tournament honors at Washington University's Lopata Classic. He averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as Wilmington went 1-1 in the tournament.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
