Quakers lose at Muskingum
Hirtzinger wins two matches

NEW CONCORD — Wilmington College fell, 7-2, to Muskingum in Ohio Athletic Conference men’s tennis action Thursday afternoon.
The Quakers are now 0-7 in the OAC, 0-9 overall. Muskingum improves to 2-6 in the conference, 5-9 for the season.
Charles Hirtzinger (Troy) was in on both Wilmington wins. The freshman posted a 9-8 (7-5) win over Dale De Fluiter at No. 4 singles and teamed with Killian Cummings (Cincinnati/Colerain) to defeat Robby Levine and De Fluiter at No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
The Quakers, who forfeited matches at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles, got a solid performance from Jesse Ingels at No. 5 singles. Ingels lost to Derek Reichley, 6-8.
The Quakers continue a busy final week of the season with a match at Capital on Friday. Wilmington will end its season at John Carroll on Saturday.
