More than 200 students, faculty, staff and community members made positive steps in maintaining or improving their health and fitness Thursday (March 20) at Wilmington College’s annual Community Health Fair.

Also, persons gave the gift of life by participating in the Community Blood Center blood drive held concurrently at the site.

WC’s Wellness and Health Promotions Committee sponsored the event at which organizations shared health, safety and wellness information, promotional materials, related activities and prizes.

Jennifer Judy-Walker, athletic training clinical education coordinator and a member of the committee, proclaimed the Health Fair a triumph.

“Our event was a huge success!” she said. “Over 200 people attended and 40 organizations/businesses were represented.”
