Man-of-the-Match Awards
Committee Gathers Following WC Games to Determine Selections
September 29, 2010
Erik Hammar was co-Man-of-the-Match for the Quakers' first game, a 3-1 win versus Wittenberg. Awards will be placed on this page in descending order with the most recent on top.
Once again, The Upper 90 will present Man-of-Match awards following the Quakers games this season. This recognition is based upon an unbiased view of players' contributions to the team's offensive and defensive success. However, the committee also looks at intangibles that directly relate to such ideals as sportsmanship, teamism, comedic value and, of course, sophomoric humor. Our first Man-of-the-Match goes to two players, Erik Hammar, who scored a pair of goals in our opener versus Wittenberg, and Henrik Hornnaess, who had a goal and an assist.
Final Man-of-the-Match Award goes to 2010 Seniors vs. Heidelberg
