Gibbons is SAAC honoree
Junior won 5,000-meter run at OAC South Meet

Brittany Gibbons is the SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Junior Brittany Gibbons has been named Wilmington College’s SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29.
Gibbons (Pleasant Plain/Blanchester) won the 5,000-meter run at the OAC South Split Meet with a time of 18:50.05, beating her nearest competitor by more than 2:30.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Gibbons will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
