Senior midfielder Armin Fejzic has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Great Lakes Region Team.

Fejzic (Strangnas, Sweden/Thomas Gymnasiet) was a second team selection in voting conducted by NSCAA coaches in the Great Lakes Region.

“Armin’s recognition on the Great Lakes All-Region Team is a very deserved honor for him and the Wilmington College men’s soccer program. With over 45 teams in the region, he has distinguished himself as one of the top midfielders in the region,” Wilmington head coach Bud Lewis said.

Fejzic scored two goals and contributed two assists this fall and helped the Quakers post 11 wins and make their first Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament appearance since 2006. He also was an All-OAC First Team pick.

“Armin’s ball possession and good tackling technique was such a great presence for us in the midfield,” Lewis said. “He had games this past season where he just dominated in the middle of the field. He put a tremendous amount of work in the preparation for his senior season in the weight room and on the tract. I am so pleased for him to be honored with this award. He will be a very difficult player to replace in our lineup next fall.”
