Cekada named SAAC award winner
Junior qualified for NCAA Championship

Annie Cekada is the SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Junior Annie Cekada has been named Wilmington College’s SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 13.
Cekada finished 14th overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Championship. Her time of 22:14 broke her own WC 6k record and also qualified her for the NCAA Championship at Wisconsin-Oshkosh Nov. 19.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Cekada will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
