Adult Fitness Classes, class descriptions

Advanced Step - High intensity step workout for intermediate to advanced participants.

Intermediate Step/Strength - Get a great cardio and strength workout! The class will run approximately 30 minutes of intermediate step and thirty minutes of strength exercises for the entire body.

Basic Step
- For those just beginning step aerobics or anyone who prefers a class with less choreography. All participants will get a great workout.

TBC (Total Body Conditioning) - Get a great overall body workout in one class. This hour and fifteen-minute class will include intervals of step, aerobics and strength exercises.

Hi/Low Impact - Get an excellent cardiovascular workout. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace so all levels of fitness can benefit.

Boot Camp - Just what you think. This intense, hard core class is for those wanting a great workout similar to what you would experience in the service. Includes jump rope, calisthenics, aerobic training, weight training, foot drills and flexibility training.

Lower Body Strength - Want to burn more calories even at rest? Join our lower body strength training class and you will see results!

Cardio Kickboxing - A fun, high intensity workout that appeals to men and women of all ages.

Varsity Aerobics - This class is designed for anyone wanting a lower intensity but effective workout. Perfect for the active older adult or beginner.

SMILE - Small Movements Increase Life Energy - Low intensity, low impact fitness class for beginners or those who want a less stressful workout.

Group Strength - Resistance training in the Wellness Center. Great motivation for a strength workout!

YOGA - Gain strength and flexibility through this mind-body fitness class.
