Class Officers Pyle Center SGA Office Ext. 468 The freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes elect officers who are responsible for providing the leadership for their respective classes. Each class elects a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and SGA Representative.
Activities Programming Board (APB) Pyle Center Ext. 355 The Wilmington College Activities Programming Board (APB) serves as the overall coordinating body for all student activities and programs. It is APB 's goal to develop and maintain quality, diversity, and regularity in all student programs and activities. As a branch of the Student Government Association, APB works cooperatively with all SGA recognized student organizations to better plan, coordinate, and evaluate campus programming. Through this coordinated effort, APB hopes to encourage a greater sense of unity and participation in activities throughout the campus community. Student Government Association (SGA) Pyle Center Ext.468 It is the responsibility of Wilmington College's SGA to serve as the representative voice of the student population; to encourage understanding and respect for the Quaker tradition of peace, service, and inner direction; to recognize and aid worthy student organizations; and to promote pride in the College. The SGA seeks to serve all the students' desires for improved student services and academic programs, as well as to promote honest and open communications among students, faculty, administrators, and staff. The SGA Steering Committee is also responsible for the allocation of the student activity fee. All registered and enrolled students of Wilmington College main campus are members of the Student Government Association.
Any member of the SGA has the right to present a concern or grievance in accordance with the SGA Bylaws (Article I,Section I). Any member of SGA has the right to appeal a decision in accordance with the SGA Bylaws (Article I, Section II). The SGA Board meets every Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.in the SGA office with the exception of the second Tuesday of each month. On this day,meetings are held at 4:00 p.m.in Thomas Lounge. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

President Michael V. Richards I would like to welcome each of you to the student activity portion of the web. My name is Michael V. Richards. I am a senior at Wilmington this year and am from Cincinnati, OH. I am a Social and Political Studies major with minors in Biology and Chemistry. After graduation I will be moving to Los Angeles, CA to pursue future job opportunities and graduate school.
On campus I am also: President of the Multi-Cultural Student Union, Treasurer for the Senior Class, Second–year Coordinator for the Leadership for Effective Citizenship pin ceremony, Resident Director of Denver Hall, Student Activities Monitor Chairperson for the Activities Programming Board, National Trustee for American Medical Student Association (2 years), member of Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Honor Society), and a Peer Mentor for incoming freshmen, just to name a few activities.
The Student Government Association (SGA) seeks to promote and defend student welfare, encourage understanding and respect for the Quaker traditions of peace, service, and inner direction, and maximize student involvement, by enhancing interactions among all in the college community.

Vice President Danny Manley My name is Danny Manley and I am the Student Government Association’s Vice-President. I am also actively involved in residence life, serving as Resident Director of Friends Hall, Gameroom Director on the Activity Programming Board, Vice-President of Senior Class, and participation in the prestigious four-year Leadership for Effective Citizenship program. While on Student Government I will strive to continue addressing student concerns and strengthen the Publicity Board.
Secretary Shannon Nixson Greetings! I, Shannon Denise Nixson, your 2003-2004 Student Government Association Secretary am pleased to have the opportunity to serve the student body this year. I am currently a junior, majoring in Psychology. I am from Cincinnati, OH and I graduated from Hughes Center.
Other organizations and activities I am involved with on campus are the Multi-Cultural Student Union, Resident Assistant, and a member of the Resident Student Association. My goal this year is to help make students more aware of campus matters and serve as a student voice for all. Treasurer Jennifer Loudenslager As the SGA Treasurer I hope to help promote the various organizations at Wilmington College. As well, I hope to encourage the student body to become involved in their college experience.
Assistant Treasurer Jamie Franz My name is Jamie Franz and I am from Lebanon, OH. I am a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I am getting minors in Communication Arts and Leadership.
Here at Wilmington I am very active in many organizations including class officers, Leadership for Effective Citizenship, and Residence Life.
As Assistant Treasurer, I intend to perform all of my duties to my best ability. My goal in this position include creating and implementing the new Funding Transition Training Session to help all organizations understand the funding policies of Student Government. I also would like to help and make SGA more recognized by holding weekly office hours to better serve the student body.
As a member of the SGA board I am looking forward to a successful and promising year ahead. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to visit me during my office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
Elections Chairperson Christopher Martin I am a junior from Tiffin, OH majoring in Business Administration, Management, and Spanish. I hope that all elections will run smoothly and without problems.
Board of Trustees Representative Utkarsh Acharya I am currently a senior majoring in Biology/Pre-Medicine. I have been at Wilmington for the past two years, both of which have entailed my involvement with the Student Government Association. As a returning second year Student Government Association Board of Trustee Representative, it is my contention to facilitate student involvement on campus by allowing students to serve on various committees on campus. I also plan to serve the student body to the best of my abilities and serve as an effective liaison among the students, the administration, and the esteemed Board of Trustees.
The Student Government Association is a way for which Wilmington students can bring forth positive change in an effective and cordial manner.
