Athletic Training Facilities

Wilmington’s athletic training facilities are among the best when compared to other NCAA Division III schools. Our current facility was completely remodeled in 1996. We are strategically located near locker rooms and playing fields making it easy to assist athletes. Our state of the art facilities includes the following:

  An eight table evaluation/treatment/rehabilitation area.
  A taping and first aid area with room for 8-10 athletes.
  A hydrotherapy area with three large tank whirlpools.
  Multi-media equipment: computers with internet access, TV, VCR, stereo-CD player.
  A 3000 sqft. strength training facility for rehabilitation.
  An Olympic size swimming pool available anytime for aquatic rehab.
  A total of five electrical muscle stimulation machines.
  Three ultrasound machines.
  Traction unit with adjustable bed.
  Isokinetic testing equipment, orthotron and Lido.
  An extensive variety of edcuational equipment ranging from video's, DVD's, models, first aid equipment and software programs.
  A variety of rehabilitation equipment enabling us to complete therapy for most all athletic injuries and surgeries.
