Certified Athletic trainers work closely with medical professionals in a wide range of settings that include high schools, college and universities, professional teams, sports medicine clinics, corporate fitness facilities and hospitals. The current outlook for a career as an ATC is excellent. 

Wilmington's long history in athletic training has enabled us to place many of our graduates in the Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio area.  We have graduated over 185 students that are now certified athletic trainers.  We get many calls each year from employers wanting our graduates to apply for positions they have open.  The reputation we have developed over the past 30 years makes it easy for our graduates to get good paying jobs.  With our extensive network of alumni we also have a large variety of opportunities for students internships.
