RECOMMENDATION FOR LICENSURE
In addition to these professional education courses, candidates for licensure must
complete the general education requirements/coursework as specified by the State Department of Education. Middle Childhood Licensure candidates must complete the requirements for two concentration areas. Adolescent licensure candidates must complete the equivalent of another academic major. Details of all these requirements are available from the Education area. The student must continue to maintain a 2.50 grade point average in both the teaching field and overall in order to be recommended for licensure.
