Biology Major

There are three options within the Biology Major. Students must select one of the three.

NOTE: The requirements listed below are based on the 2005-2006 Wilmington College Catalog. Requirements may differ for students who are governed by other catalogs. Students must consult with the appropriate governing catalog and their academic advisors for complete information on graduation requirements.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE BIOLOGY MAJOR WITH ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES CONCENTRATION:
A total of 64 hours with grades of "C-" or better is required. Courses other than those offered only as pass/fail may not be taken on a pass/fail basis for this major.

Required: 16 hours of BIO courses at the 300- or 400-level, except BIO306, BIO399, or BIO460.
Required: Proficiency Exam during senior year
