Our Summer Open Hous is designed to give you information about the college selection process and Wilmington College. There will be sessions on our academic programs, student life, the college search process in general and everyone's favorite - financial aid and scholarships. The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude with lunch in the Main Dining Hall if you choose to join us. For those students interested in participating in intercollegiate athletics, there will also be a session with our athletic director (at the end of the program). The program will conclude between 1:15 - 3:00 p.m. depending on whether you are staying for lunch, attending the athletic session and/or taking a campus tour. (Please note that group tours, consisting of about 10 - 15 people per group, will be conducted at the end of the program.)
This is a great time to see what Wilmington College has to offer. Make your reservation no later than June 19th by completing the online reservation form here, or by calling the Office of Admission at 1-800-341-9318 ext. 260. (If this date is not convenient for you, feel free to visit any weekday.
You will receive notification when your reservation is confirmed and a confirmation packet with a campus map will be sent the week of June 19th detailing where and when to arrive on campus.

This program is a great way to visit for your first time. These open houses are designed to be general in nature, giving you an overall look at WC and to showcase the benefits of a Wilmington College education. Large group sessions will focus on admission, financial aid, scholarship, academics, and student life. Campus tour groups (10-15 people per group) will be conducted including all academic buildings, the athletic facility, a residence hall room and the student center.
Individual Visits An individual visit allows us to build an itinerary with specific activities that you request. Appointments are taken weekdays between the office hours of 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. You will meet with an admission counselor to learn about admission requirements, financial aid and scholarship opportunities. You can meet with a faculty member, coach or extra-curricular advisor and have lunch in our dining hall. Just let us know which options you prefer when you make your appointment, and we will establish a schedule to meet all of your needs. Please Note: Appointments must be made at least a week in advance of the date you wish to visit so that we have plenty of time to arrange your activities. Please call the Office of Admission directly to make your appointment.
Saturday Visits We realize it's not always easy to get away during the week for a campus visit. That's why we are open Saturdays during the academic year to provide you the opportunity to tour the campus and meet with an Admission Counselor and Student Ambassadors to learn about admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships and student life. Saturday presentations are held at 10:00 a.m. with the campus tours beginning at 11:00 a.m. Call the Office of Admission directly to make your reservation.
Agriculture Visit Day "AG Day" Thursday, November 3, 2005 Specifically for agriculture majors (animal science, vocational-agriculture, agriculture-business, crop production, agriculture-communication), this program is concentrated at the farm rather than here on campus. You'll interact with our agriculture faculty and current students throughout the morning then visit the campus in the afternoon for the admisssion and financial aid presentation and campus tour.
Athletic Training Day Saturday, December 3, 2005 If you are interested in majoring in Athletic Training, you should attend this program to learn about our accredited Athletic Training Program and tour the facilities. Sponsored by the Athletic Training Department, this program consists of short presentations covering the admission and financial aid processes, scholarship opportunities, and an overview of our Athletic Training program. The second portion of the program is spent touring the training room facilities and informally talking with our athletic trainers/faculty and current student trainers. The program concludes with a campus tour and lunch in the Main Dining Room.
Business Administration Day Monday, November 7, 2005 Think you want to major in business administration, marketing, management or accounting? Then this is the day you want to visit Wilmington College! Our faculty have an exciting, fun and active day planned for you to learn all there is to know about our business programs, career opportunities and what it's like to be in the real world of business.
Education Visit Day

Considering a career teaching others? See why Wilmington College can prepare you to become a classroom teacher ready for tomorrow's trends in education. By attending the Education Visit Day, you will be able to meet with faculty members who teach in the Department and learn about the licensures you may be considering such as Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Adolescence to Young Adult, Health and PE, Visual Arts, Spanish or Vocational Agriculture. In addition to learning about the specifics of an education degree, we will also provide general information about the College, admission, scholarship and financial aid procedures, campus tours and dinner in the Main Dining Hall.
Science and Agriculture Visit Day Thursday, March 30, 2006 - Make your reservations now! Students interested in any of the science majors such as Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Equine Science, Pre-Med, or Pre-Vet will certainly benefit from attending this program. Students interested in Agriculture and/or Equine Science will tour the farms and equine facility. Students interested in the other science areas will tour the science facility and labs. Everyone attending the program will attend a general information session covering admission requirements, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and academic benefits and internships. In addition, campus tours and lunch in the Main Dining Hall will be included.
Multicultural Overnight Sunday, March 26 & Monday, March 27, 2006 Wilmington College embraces diversity in all areas of campus life and offers much support for students of color. High school seniors who have been accepted for admission to the College have the opportunity to attend this program in March. By shadowing a current student, you will learn about College life during a day of campus activities and classes. The program begins on Sunday evening with dinner and an information session then concludes with entertainment provided by the Multicultural Student Union organization. Monday begins with breakfast, continues with classes during the morning, and concludes at noon on Monday. Individual Overnight Visit Been to campus several times already? Have you been curious as to what it's like to spend a night in a residence hall? If so, then you may consider scheduling an individual overnight visit. This is offered to any high school senior who has been accepted for admission to Wilmington College. Students are welcome to visit on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday while classes are in session throughout the entire academic year. Visiting students will be hosted by a Wilmington College Student Ambassador (employed by the Office of Admission) with whom they will reside with and experience first hand the daily routine of a typical Wilmington College student. There is no charge for this opportunity. To schedule an individual overnight visit, simply contact the Office of Admission two weeks prior to your desired date at extention 260 and leave the rest to us.
