Q: I contribute yearly, do these gifts make an impact on the deficit?
A: The annual gifts you make are very important and have an immediate impact on the quality of programing on campus and the reduction of the deficit. Last year alone, gifts to the College totaled over $2.3MM and helped pay for new facilities, grow the endowment fund, kept WC education affordable, and ultimately underwrote all aspects of the College. The College deeply appreciates your support and encourages you to consider upping your donation this year to help us achieve the goals of our Vision 2020 plan.
Q: What will these cuts mean to the reputation of my degree?
A: Personnel cuts are a very small part of this phase of the Vision 2020 plan. The new initiatives, as well as a more appropriate operational structure that better meets student demands, will only strengthen the WC reputation as we continue to graduate highly educated students prepared for a life of service and success.
