Title: Tenant Field Researcher

Description: The Tenant Field Researcher serves as a data resource for the Tenant Product, by canvassing office, industrial and retail buildings collecting tenant data in a defined geographic working area. Position runs from June 10 – August 2, 2013
Requirements:
·         Walk every floor of assigned buildings collecting tenant information including company name, suite number, and floor, percent of floor occupied by tenant phone number, and website, obtaining business cards from tenants
·         photograph the tenant directory sign
·         collect property Manager name and phone number
·         collect any for sale/lease information on building
·         And photograph the for sale/lease sign, data entry of information collected.
Qualifications include:
·         BA/BS degree or currently working towards degree or professional work experience equivalent
·         Data collection
·         Real estate knowledge
·         Excellent communication (person to person skills, professionalism is a priority)
·         Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet applications
·         Time management and multi-tasking abilities

Title: Corporate Accounting Intern

Description:  As an accounting intern at Battelle, students will be engaged in the daily operations of the accounting department. Interns will receive training from full-time staff in the various segments of accounting, including but not limited to: general ledger maintenance, journal entry creation and input, financial statement preparation, subsidiary accounting, and consolidation. They will receive “hands-on” experience in using accounting software and learning how the data moves within the software to meet reporting requirements set forth by GAAP and other authoritative sources.  
Requirements: undergraduate junior and seniors pursing a major course of study in a business related program with preference given to Finance or Accounting majors, overall GPA of 3.0 and above, and strong Excel skills.

Title: Accounting or Finance

Description: Two awards are available for undergraduate study at a college or university that is a member of The Ohio Foundation of Independent College (OFIC) in the 2013-14 academic year. Students who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply: students who are attending an OFIC member institution full-time, minimum 2.8 GPA or higher, have financial need, recipients can be juniors or seniors in the fall of 2013, preparing for a career in Accounting or Finance, demonstrate leadership potential while attending college. Scholars will be notified of internship and work-study opportunities with Sherwin Williams during their college careers; participation in these opportunities is not required to receive the scholarship.

Title: Public Relations Intern

Description: Ohio Humanities Council is an independent nonprofit cultural organization. They are looking for an intern interested in learning all aspects of public relations field. Responsibilities include: monitoring all forms of media, plan and assist with a variety of online and offline marketing projects, provide copywriting support, which may include writing press releases, blogs, and content for e-newsletter, write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar, search for press clippings and sponsorship information, and create social media pages and regularly add fresh content.
Requirements: Students must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, or a Humanities discipline. Applicants should have an appreciation of the humanities, as well as a solid understanding of social media. The candidate must have their own computer and internet access for some virtual work.
